Spring has arrived at Newbridge Farm. The daffodils are out and our summer 2014 brides are making their final plans. From the sounds of it we’ve got an amazing summer of weddings ahead.
Our chickens, which we reared from chicks in September have laid their first eggs today and our solar panels are converting the lovely Oxfordshire sunshine into renewable energy.
Looking for local food to serve at your wedding to cut down on food miles? How about crayfish that lived just meters from your reception? Ask your caterer to source our river crayfish from Continental Crayfish. This is a delicious way to help our riverbank by eating these signal crayfish invaders.
This week I’ve spoken to some exciting new suppliers that are talking to clients about coming to our venue; the very talented Serena Foyle (music designer for fireworks), RJCC events (equipment and marquee hire) with a local warehouse and Deckerdence (bus bar and marquee).
