We have had an amazing, wedding packed summer. Our couples have created beautiful, totally unique weddings. From French/Indian fusion celebrations with a panoramic windowed marquee, to festival tipi’s reaching high into the sky, everyone has made the most of the stunning location. Have a look on our Facebook page to see some of the this years photo's.
My favourite quote was from the mother of a bride visiting the meadow for the first time “Wow, there is so much sky!”.
And that sky has been so visible this summer, with the sun shining brightly, that our solar panels have reached their annual output target two months ahead of schedule. So, even more green energy. The great weather also helped our harvest, which is finished and the crops are being planted ready for next year.
Speaking of next year, want to know what the 2015 wedding trends will be? Check out this article from Stylish Wedding Ideas "2015 wedding trends". It predicts rustic, homely weddings will continue to trend. I can’t think of a more homely comfort food than pies and that exactly what happened at one wedding this summer that was catered by Pieminster . Personally, I love the naked cake trend which was showcased at national wedding shows this year. This Guides for Brides blog post has some great naked cake photo’s "The naked Cake" .
