A real theme this year has been aerial shots. The photo on this blog was taken by the police helicopter as it flew over on the way back from a job. The bride Kate, was thrilled when I passed it on to her. "Wow!!! Just wow!!!". Unfortunately we can't promise this service to every bride. Another enterprising father of the bride took an aerial video as he drifted over the meadow on his paraglider the winter before her wedding. The couple used this to show the location to their guests, (watch it here).
With the Maybush pub now open next door, there is even more accommodation available for those that don't want to camp. (Check out the Maybush's quirky accommodation).
We've had another fantastic year for wildlife on the farm with Wildcru from the University of Oxford carrying out a reptile study. A highlight was finding a large olive coloured female grass snake. (Don't worry it wasn't in the wedding meadow)
